Madeline P. Poole

ASSOCIATE

Ms. Poole is an associate who focuses her practice on medical malpractice defense. She was admitted to practice law in Massachusetts in 2022 and to the District Court of Massachusetts and the First Circuit Court of Appeals in 2023. Since joining Ficksman & Conley in 2023, she has represented health care providers from the pre-suit stage of litigation through trial preparation. She has also represented providers navigating the appeals process in both state and federal courts including, most recently, the successful defense of a provider’s dismissal which was challenged on appeal.
Ms. Poole earned her juris doctorate from Saint Louis University School of Law in St. Louis, Missouri in 2022 and is a proud graduate of the school’s prestigious Health Law Center. During law school, she served as an intern for a magistrate judge in the Eastern District of Missouri. Ms. Poole also interned for the Chief Legal Officer of a large midwestern healthcare system where she was first exposed to medical malpractice litigation. In her last year of law school, she enjoyed the opportunity to serve as a mentor to first- and second-year law students. Ms. Poole earned a Bachelor of Science degree in International Business from Saint Louis University in 2019.
