M
s. Rachel McCloskey joined the firm in 2015 after being admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Her practice is focused on medical malpractice defense.

She graduated cum laude from Suffolk University Law School in 2014, concentrating in Trial and Appellate Advocacy. During law school, Ms. McCloskey served as a law clerk for the Boston Housing Authority Leased Housing Division, polishing her oral advocacy skills while representing the City in administrative hearings. She also had the opportunity to intern at the Office of the General Counsel of the Navy in Washington, DC.

As a member of Suffolk’s National Trial Team, she won the 2013 Regional Championship of the American Association of Justice spring trial competition and advanced to the regional quarter-finals in the 2014 National Trial Competition. While completing her final year at Suffolk, she became a SJC Rule 3:03 certified student attorney for the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office for whom she argued motions and other matters in court, worked with the Boston Police, and engaged in all aspects of discovery.

Ms. McCloskey’s undergraduate degree is from Northeastern University, she graduated magna cum laude with a B.A. in Political Science in 2010.
